UP T20 League 2023 started yesterday evening with a battle between Kanpur Superstars and Noida Super Kings. Four other teams, namely Gorakhpur Lions, Lucknow Falcons, Kashi Rudras and Meerut Mavericks are also a part of this competition.
Like Tamil Nadu Premier League features also cricketers under the TNCA roster, UP T20 League 2023 comprises the players who are under the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) management. The following six star players of IPL are also playing in this new competition.
1. Shivam Mavi is playing in UP T20 League 2023
Gujarat Titans fast bowler Shivam Mavi, who made his debut for Team India earlier this year, is a member of the Kashi Rudras team. He will lead the pace attack of the Rudras in UP T20 League.
2. Yash Dayal is playing in UP T20 League 2023
Another Gujarat Titans fast bowler to feature in this brand-new T20 tournament is left-arm pacer Yash Dayal. He is playing for the Lucknow Falcons team.
3. Priyam Garg is playing in UP T20 League 2023
Priyam Garg, who joined the Delhi Capitals as a replacement signing in IPL 2023, is also a part of the Lucknow Falcons team. Garg captained India U-19s to the U-19 World Cup trophy in 2020.
4. Nitish Rana
Kolkata Knight Riders captain Nitish Rana recently quit DDCA and moved to UPCA. He is playing for the Noida Super Kings team.
5. Bhuvneshwar Kumar
Bhuvneshwar Kumar plays for the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League. He is from Meerut, but he is representing the Noida Super Kings in UP T20 League.
6. Rinku Singh
Kolkata Knight Riders star Rinku Singh, who made his T20I debut for India against Ireland this month, is in Uttar Pradesh now. He is playing for the Meerut Mavericks team.
