    Rajasthan Royals were the inaugural champions of the world’s grandest T20 league – the Indian Premier League. RR won the first-ever IPL season which happened back in the year 2008. Since then, they have never been able to win the title again, but they came very close in 2022, where they finished as the runners-up.

    The Jaipur-based franchise has been home to some great players since 2008. The likes of Rahul Dravid, Shane Watson and Shane Warne played multiple seasons for the Royals, but the following six names played just a solitary season for the Jaipur-based franchise and disappeared from the league.

    1. S Midhun played for Rajasthan Royals in 2019

    S Midhun is a right-arm leg-spin bowler who played just one match for the Royals during the 2019 edition of the league. He conceded 27 runs in two overs on his debut against the Kolkata Knight Riders.

    2. D’Arcy Short played for Rajasthan Royals in 2018

    D’Arcy Short made a name for himself with his magnificent performances in the Big Bash League. However, he failed to make an impact in the IPL as he managed only 115 runs in seven matches.

    3. Tyron Henderson played for Rajasthan Royals in 2009

    RR roped in South African all-rounder Tyron Henderson for the 2009 edition of the league. He played two matches, scoring 11 runs and picking up two wickets.

    4. Lee Carseldine

    Uncapped Australian player Lee Carseldine donned the RR jersey in the 2009 season as well. He played five matches, scoring 81 runs for the franchise.

    5. Rob Quiney

    Rob Quiney represented RR in nine matches during the 2009 season. He scored 103 runs in those games and even registered a half-century.
