    Yashasvi Jaiswal has become one of the top names in Indian cricket, thanks to his fantastic performances for the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2023. Jaiswal is one of the top contenders to win the Orange Cap this season. Before impressing in IPL 2023, Jaiswal also did a great job for Mumbai in domestic tournaments.

    Many former Indian cricketers, including Suresh Raina, have opined that Yashasvi Jaiswal is ready to play for India at the senior level. Quite a few cricket fans would know that Jaiswal started his journey at the U-19 level, playing for India in the U-19 World Cup 2020.

    Priyam Garg captained India in that mega event. The likes of Ravi Bishnoi, Tilak Varma, Akash Singh and Kartik Tyagi also participated in that tournament. While the aforementioned names have made it big, the following six team members of India’s U-19 World Cup 2020 squad have not done it yet.

    1. Vidyadhar Patil played with Yashasvi Jaiswal at U-19 level

    Vidhyadar Patil played one match in that tournament. He bowled four overs, conceding eight runs and picking up one wicket. Patil recently played for Mysuru Warriors in Maharaja T20 trophy.

    2. Sushant Mishra

    Left-arm fast bowler Sushant Mishra received a contract from Sunrisers Hyderabad, but has not made IPL debut. He played five matches at U-19 WC 2020, scalping seven wickets.

    3. Shashwat Rawat

    Uncapped wicket-keeper Shashwat Rawat is yet to earn IPL contract. He plays domestic cricket for the Baroda team.

    4. Kumar Kushagra

    Another wicket-keeper to feature on the list is Kumar Kushagra. He plays domestic cricket for Jharkhand right now.

    5. Atharva Ankolekar was a teammate of Yashasvi Jaiswal

    Slow left-arm spinner Atharva Ankolekar played four matches for India in U-19 WC 2020. Ankolekar played his last domestic match for Mumbai back in the year 2021.

    Siddhesh Veer played six matches, scoring 69 runs. He is a left-handed batter. Veer is a member of the Maharashtra domestic cricket team.
