IPL playoffs is the biggest stage for any player to showcase his talent. Many players have used this platform, performed well and catapulted themselves to the next level. Jos Buttler smacked a hundred in the Qualifier 2 of the previous season. He hit a hundred for Rajasthan Royals in a run-chase against the Royal Challengers Bangalore.
3. Rajat Patidar, IPL playoffs 2022
Another batter who scored a century last season in the playoffs was Rajat Patidar. The RCB batter hit a century against Lucknow Super Giants in the Eliminator.
4. Shane Watson, 2018
Shane Watson smacked a magnificent hundred for the Chennai Super Kings in the 2018 final. Watson achieved the feat against the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
5. Wriddhiman Saha, 2014
Wriddhiman Saha also scored a hundred in the final match. Saha’s efforts went in vain though as the Punjab Kings lost against the Kolkata Knight Riders.
6. Virender Sehwag, 2014
Virender Sehwag was another Punjab Kings batter who scored a hundred in the 2014 season’s Qualifier 2. Sehwag’s century helped Punjab defeat the Chennai Super Kings.
