    While some players got injured while putting in extra efforts for their team, here’s a list of seven cricketers who got injured in a weird way.

    1. One of the current Mumbai Indians cricketers – Ishan Kishan

    In the recent IPL match between MI and GT, Ishan Kishan got injured in a weird way. Chris Jordan was putting on his cap, and in the process, his elbow hit Kishan on the face. Kishan did not open the batting for MI.

    2. One of the current Pakistan cricketers – Hasan Ali

    Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali is known for his celebration after taking wickets. During one of the matches, he hurt his shoulder while celebrating a wicket.

    3. One of the current England cricketers – Jonny Bairstow

    England’s wicket-keeper batter Jonny Bairstow missed IPL 2023 due to a freak injury. Bairstow slipped on the golf course while playing golf and got hurt badly.

    Former Australian pacer Glenn McGrath injured due to another sport as well. A stray ball was lying on the field during Australia’s rugby practice session. McGrath’s leg landed on that ball, and he got injured.

    During the India vs England Test series in 2021, Zak Crawley slipped on a marble floor after completing quarantine. He hurt his wrist and missed the match.

    Devon Conway missed the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 Final because of an injury. He punched his hand on the bat after losing his wicket during the semifinal match.
