MI only have four league stage matches remaining, with the next one scheduled to take place against the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Wankhede Stadium. After the six-wicket loss against the Chennai Super Kings, the Mumbai Indians are likely to alter their team combination a bit.

In this article now, we will look at the three changes the Mumbai-based franchise should make for their next match against RCB.

    1. Arjun Tendulkar in for Arshad Khan

MI have backed Arshad Khan a lot but the uncapped pacer is yet to impress the fans with his performances. Perhaps, MI can consider Khan a break and bring Arjun Tendulkar back in the team. Tendulkar was expensive in the middle overs, but he did a good job in the powerplay. MI can use him to bowl two or three overs in the powerplay.

    2. Kumar Kartikeya in for Raghav Goyal

Mumbai unearthed a new talent in Kumar Kartikeya last year, but they have not backed him much this season. Kumar could have been effective on the surface at the MA Chidambaram Stadium today, but MI dropped him and picked debutant Raghav Goyal. The move did not work as Goyal went for 33 runs in his four wicketless overs.

    3. Tilak Varma in for Tristan Stubbs

Tristan Stubbs replaced Tilak Varma in the MI playing XI for the match against the Chennai Super Kings because the latter was injured. If Varma is fit and available, he should straightaway replace Stubbs in the team. It will be interesting to see if MI make any changes to their team.
