2) Nicholas Pooran
Nicholas Pooran is one of the genuine wicket-keepers who may not keep wickets in IPL 2024. The same reason for QDK holds good here, as well. With KL Rahul keeping wickets, we might see Pooran on the outfield.
3) Jonny Bairstow
Jitesh Sharma is likely to be the first-choice wicket-keeper for Punjab Kings in IPL 2024. Jitesh is keeping wickets for Team India right now and hence, he cannot give up this task.

Dhruv Jurel recently got selected to Team India as a specialist wicket-keeper. Yet, he might not keep wickets in IPL 2024. Sanju Samson might take this opportunity to audition for the 2024 T20 World Cup.
5) Jos Buttler
Jos Buttler is also one of the genuine wicket-keepers who may not keep wickets in IPL 2024. Since Sanju Samson is likely to keep wickets, Buttler won’t have a job behind the stumps. Dhruv Jurel will be the second choice if Sanju does not keep wickets.
6) Rishabh Pant
Rishabh Pant is also a part of this list of genuine wicket-keepers who may not keep wickets in IPL 2024. It is more of an injury issue for Pant. This is why Delhi Capitals signed close to four genuine wicket-keepers at the IPL 2024 Auctions.
7) Prabhsimran Singh
The youngster from Punjab will also stay behind the stumps in IPL 2024. As mentioned earlier, Jitesh Sharma will be the more likely option to don the gloves for PBKS.
