2024 will be a massive year for cricket lovers. After an action-packed 2023, this year promises to be another spectacle for cricket lovers as well, with one major ICC event set to happen. Apart from that, there will be six other marquee events in the year.

1. ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024
The biggest men’s ICC event of the year will be the T20 World Cup. It will happen in West Indies and United States for the first time ever. The event will take place in June.
2. ICC U-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2024
The ICC U-19 World Cup will return this year. Sri Lanka was initially supposed to host the tournament, but it was moved to South Africa. The dates will be in January and February 2024.
3. Pataudi Trophy 2024
From January 25 onwards, a much-awaited Test series will begin. It will be a five-Test series between the spin-dominant India and Bazball-crazy England on Indian soil.
4. WPL 2024
Women’s Premier League was a big hit in 2023. The second edition of WPL is all set to happen in 2024, with the five franchises set to compete against each other.
5. IPL 2024
IPL will return once again to entertain the cricket fans across the world. It could be the last season of MS Dhoni, while fans are also excited to see Hardik Pandya’s homecoming at MI.
6. ICC Women’s T20 Cricket World Cup 2024
ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will happen this year, with Bangladesh set to host the tournament. Indian fans will hope that the Women in Blue end the trophy drought.
7. Border-Gavaskar Trophy
The year will end with the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series in Australia. It will be a five-match Test series between defending WTC champions Australia and their arch-rivals India.
