Road Safety World Series 2022 got underway last Saturday at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. Defending champions India Legends started their campaign with a big victory over last year’s semifinalists South Africa Legends. West Indies Legends also recorded an easy win against Bangladesh Legends, while Sri Lanka Legends have dominated the Australia Legends so far.
Even England Legends and New Zealand Legends are a part of the Road Safety World Series 2022. Fans might have noticed that most of the players are aged more than 40 in this tournament. However, there are also some players whose age is less than current Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma.
Rohit Sharma’s age is 35. Here’s a list of eight cricketers younger than Rohit Sharma who are playing for legends teams.
1. Abhimanyu Mithun
Fast bowler Abhimanyu Mithun is a part of the India Legends squad. Mithun is 32 years and 313 days old. It will be interesting to see how he performs in the competition.
2. Dhiman Ghosh
Not many fans remember the Bangladesh Legends team. There is a wicket-keeper batter named Dhiman Ghosh in the Bangladesh squad. Ghosh is 34 years and 284 days old.

4. Isuru Udana

5. Thisara Perera
Not long ago, Thisara Perera captained Sri Lanka in international cricket. The 33-year-old ended his career due to contract issues with SLC. He is playing for Sri Lanka Legends at the moment.
6. Dilshan Munaweera
Sri Lanka Legends opener Dilshan Munaweera grabbed everyone’s attention with a 95-run knock against Australia Legends in his first game. Munaweera is just 33 years and 132 days old.
7. Ishan Jayaratne
Fast-bowling all-rounder Ishan Jayaratne is another 33-year-old player in the Sri Lanka Legends team. It shows how many Sri Lankan players have retired recently.
8. Chaturanga de Silva
The last name to appear on this unique list is slow left-arm spin bowler Chaturanga de Silva. He is 32 years and 229 days old but is playing for Sri Lanka Legends in Road Safety World Series 2022.
