However, with the growing popularity of T20 leagues, players are now focusing on extending their careers by retiring from Tests early or not playing too many matches in red-ball cricket.     1. Piyush Chawla made 3 appearances in Test cricket

    Indian leg-spin bowler Piyush Chawla made three appearances for the Indian Test team. Interestingly, his first match came in 2006, while his last game was against England in the year 2012.

    2. Lockie Ferguson has played 1 Test cricket match

    New Zealand’s fast bowler Lockie Ferguson has surprisingly played only one Test in his career. The right-arm pacer played against Australia at Perth in 2019, scalping zero wickets in 11 overs.

    3. Andre Russell has played 1 Test cricket match

    West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell played the only Test of his career against Sri Lanka in 2010. He scored two runs and took one wicket in that game.
