    Asia Cup 2010 was the last edition of the mega event which was hosted by Sri Lanka. After that, the tournament has only taken place in Bangladesh or UAE. The 2023 Asia Cup tournament is scheduled to take place in Sri Lanka now.

    It will be a 50-over tournament featuring six teams, namely India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal and Pakistan. The Indian team won the Asia Cup in 2010. Only four teams, namely India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan competed in that tournament. India and Sri Lanka made it to the finals, where the MS Dhoni-led outfit emerged victorious.

    1. Rohit Sharma played all 4 matches for India in Asia Cup 2010

    Rohit Sharma will captain the Indian cricket team in Asia Cup 2023. He was an up-and-coming player in the 2010 edition of the mega event. Sharma played in all four matches, where he scored 132 runs at an average of 33. His highest score in the tournament was 69.

    2. Virat Kohli

    Another youngster from that team who is a senior player now is Virat Kohli. The right-handed batter played in all four games of the 2010 tournament as well, where he aggregated 67 runs. Kohli could not score big in any of the matches. His highest score was 28.

    3. Ravindra Jadeja

    All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja featured in the playing XI for all the four matches as well. Jadeja played four matches, where he scored 31 runs and picked up four wickets. He maintained a brilliant economy rate of 4.10 in the competition.
