MAX60 Caribbean 2024 tournament started a few days ago in the West Indies. It is a T10 tournament featuring five teams, namely Boca Raton Trailblazers, Caribbean Tigers, Grand Cayman Jaguars, Miami Lions and New York Strikers.
There are several domestic cricketers from the West Indies who are participating in this competition. Besides, the teams also have popular foreign players in their squads. Here’s a list of five popular names you might not know are playing in MAX60 Caribbean tournament.
1. David Warner is captain of Boca Raton Trailblazers in MAX60 Caribbean 2024
Former Australian batter David Warner is the skipper of the Boca Raton Trailblazers team in this competition. He had a forgettable outing against Miami Lions, where he got out for 12 runs.
2. Colin de Grandhomme is playing in MAX60 Caribbean 2024
New Zealand all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme has represented IPL franchises like Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the past. Now, he is playing for the Boca Raton Trailblazers side.
3. Corey Anderson
USA all-rounder Corey Anderson has also been a part of IPL teams like Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals. Currently, he is the captain of the Miami Lions team.
4. Chris Lynn
There was a time when Chris Lynn was one of the most destructive openers in T20 cricket. Lynn has lost his touch now, but he still continues to be active in leagues. At the moment, he is playing for the Caribbean Tigers.
5. Andrew Tye
Former IPL Purple Cap winner Andrew Tye has been away from the IPL for some time now. The Australian fast bowler is also playing for the Caribbean Tigers alongside his compatriot Lynn.
