Sunrisers Hyderabad did not meet their expectations last season. However, they have the core and the talent to do well. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three players SRH must target in the IPL 2026 Trade Window.
SRH will need to rediscover their form in IPL 2024. At the same time, they must ensure that they balance the squad in both departments of the game. That will help them get closer to the trophy.
1) Spencer Johnson
Mohammed Shami was in a poor run in IPL 2025. Hence, the wickets did not come in the power play. Also, SRH cannot afford to use Pat Cummins much inside the first six overs. Since SRH can have an extra foreign pacer in the team, they can try Spencer Johnson, who can be a good option with the new ball.
2) Ravi Bishnoi is one of the players SRH must target in the IPL 2026 Trade Window
It will be an expensive trade to pull off. However, if SRH can manage the funds, he would be an ideal signing. Harsh Dubey is locked as one spinner, and Zeeshan Ansari is also doing well. A bit more experience will help the squad. Relying on Adam Zampa could be a risky tactic by SRH because of his availability issues.
3) Azmatullah Omarazai
Ricky Ponting could prefer Mitchell Owen at Punjab. Hence, the Afghan might not be necessary. For SRH, he would be ideal in the team. He can bowl with the new ball and also comes in with hitting skills at No.7. Hence, he is on this list.
