1) Mohsin Khan
Mohsin Khan has been with the franchise for a while now. However, injury issues are happening too often for him. LSG cannot afford to have such a player because an IPL cycle lasts only three years. Therefore, the team could look to buy him back at a cheaper rate or invest in other options.
2) Mayank Yadav is one of the players LSG could surprisingly release before IPL 2026
Mayank Yadav has also been vulnerable to injuries. After his return, his speed has dropped, and hence, he is no longer the player he was a few years ago. Since he commands a huge salary, the franchise could decide to release him and get him back at a lower fee.
3) Ravi Bishnoi
LSG has trusted Ravi Bishnoi in IPL. However, he has been poor for a while now. Since he was a retained cricketer, he occupies a huge chunk of the purse. The management could release him and target to get him back at a lower fee or buy another spinner. Digvesh Rathi is anyway doing well for them now.
