    The 2023 WC has started, with 10 teams competing for the championship. The 10 nations participating in this year’s mega event are New Zealand, England, Pakistan, Netherlands, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, India and Australia.

    All 10 squads have been announced, and each team has already played one match in the tournament. Not many fans would have realized that there are many such cricketers in the World Cup who were not born in the country whom they are playing for. Here is a playing XI of such cricketers.

    Openers of 2023 WC unique XI – Devon Conway (wk) and Vikramjit Singh

    New Zealand wicketkeeper Devon Conway will open the batting with Netherlands opener Vikramjit Singh for this team. They will have the left hand-right hand combination at the top of the order. Conway was born in South Africa, whereas Singh was born in India.

    Middle Order – Colin Ackermann, Teja Nidamanuru and Scott Edwards (c)

    All three middle order batters of this team are from the Netherlands. Colin Ackermann will bat at number three, with Teja Nidamanuru and captain Scott Edwards following at number four and five. Ackermann was born in South Africa, Teja is from India, while Edwards hails from Tonga.
