He recently smashed a huge hundred in the opening game of the Asia Cup 2023, becoming the fastest batter to 19 ODI hundreds. Well, his consistency has ignited the comparison of him with the former Indian captain. Many former cricketers, cricket pundits, and fans keep making such comparisons.

However, Virat has himself admitted that Babar has been the best batter across formats in the last few years. Meanwhile, the Pakistani captain has finally opened up about this infamous comparison and said that everyone has their own thought process, but there is mutual respect between the two.

There is definitely mutual respect. He is elder to me, and I have been taught to respect the elders, no matter which country they are from.”

Both of these superstars will be seen in action on Saturday. The much-awaited clash between India and Pakistan is all set to take place on September 2 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium at 3:00 PM.
