The England cricket team took the vital first-innings lead in the contest after Joe Root’s excellent century. But Virat Kohli and his team bounced back in the second innings after some fine performances from Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara. The Indian bowlers bowled perfectly in the second innings and bowled England out inside 60 overs to win the Lord’s Test match.
