Asia Cup 2023 Final is in the history books now. India defeated Sri Lanka by 10 wickets to become the new champions of Asia Cup. This was Rohit Sharma’s second consecutive Asia Cup ODI title win as the captain of the Indian team.
The Indian team will return home now with the Asia Cup trophy. Five days later, India will play a three-match ODI series against Australia. Just after the Asia Cup 2023 Final ended, a fan’s old prediction has gone viral on X (formerly known as Twitter).
A fan named Sayam Ahmad responded to a tweet from CricTracker in January, which asked the fans to predict who will win IPL 2023, World Test Championship Final, Asia Cup and World Cup. The fan responded with the answers as follows – Chennai Super Kings, Australia, India and India.

“It was a great performance”- Rohit Sharma comments on winning Asia Cup 2023 Final
Indian captain Rohit Sharma was delighted with his team’s 10-wicket win in the final match of the tournament against Sri Lanka. Speaking at the post-match presentation, Rohit said:
“It was a great performance. To come out and play in the finals shows the mental character of everyone who has been a part of the team. It was great from the outset. The way we started with the ball and then a clinical finish with the bat.”
India will play a three-match series against Australia on home soil now. It will be followed by two warm-up matches of ICC World Cup 2023 against Netherlands and England.
