The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced that former Indian cricketer and captain Rahul Dravid will be the new Indian team Head Coach after the T20 World Cup 2021.
Reacting to that, Jadeja, no not Ravindra Jadeja but former cricketer and expert Ajay Jadeja, has requested the BCCI to don’t intervene in his work and let him work according to his vision and build a team for the future.
Well that has been Rahul Dravid’s job at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) before he was appointed the Indian team’s head coach. Rahul Dravid has coached various Indian youth teams including the India U19 and the India A team.
He is also responsible for the supply of top talented players like Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Prithvi Shaw, Shubman Gill, Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan and many more, who are regular members of the Indian senior team.
Talking about Rahul Dravid’s appointment as the Indian team’s head coach, Ajay Jadeja told in a live show on Cricbuzz that Rahul Dravid is a model of discipline and dedication, which the two most important thing in a coach. He further stated that the coach should be allowed to work according to his vision and plan, or else anyone can become a coach.

He then requested the BCCI to let Rahul Dravid work according to his vision and plan, and requested the BCCI to move alongside his vision, dedication and understanding and don’t interfere in his work.
Rahul Dravid as Team India Head Coach
Rahul Dravid will be in-charge of the Indian team as the head coach after the T20 World Cup 2021, at that time, the current head coach Ravi Shastri‘s contract will also expire. Dravid’s first job as the Indian team head coach will be to lead the team in the home series against New Zealand in 3 T20I’s and 2 Test matches, that begins from the 17th November.
