Almost everyone would know that Pakistan’s current Prime Minister Imran Khan once played cricket for the Pakistan team. In fact, he was the team’s captain for a considerable time. Khan has had a close association with the sport, and it is a big occasion for Pakistan because the Aussies are playing in Pakistan for the first time since 1998.

While Imran would have wanted to watch the matches live, he revealed that he could not do so because he was busy fighting against match fixing in the nation. Khan posted a couple of tweets on his official Twitter account, reacting to the drawn game between the Australian cricket team and the Pakistan cricket team.

“Unfortunately I could not watch this match as I am fighting on another front against match fixing where huge amounts of money are being used to lure my players!” he added.

Imran Khan and rest of Pakistan would expect a historic Test series win

The series stands 0-0 after the first two games. So the winner of the third Test will win the first Benaud-Qadir trophy in Pakistan.

It will be interesting to see which team comes out on top in the series decider. Both teams have played very good cricket in this series so far.
