Arshdeep Singh has been performing tremendously in the IPL for the last couple of years. He took 10 wickets at an economy rate of 7.70 in the IPL 2022 and after that he was given a place in the Indian team.

However, since then he had to struggle a lot to make it to the playing XI. He did not get a chance to play in both the South Africa and Ireland series. He was then included in the playing XI for the first T20 match against England. In that match, he took 2 wickets for 18 runs in 3.3 overs and instantly impressed everyone.

“Mark my words. Arshdeep will play the third ODI and make an impact too. Arshdeep has the art and he uses his mind while bowling. He bowls sensibly and knows how to take wickets. He can be a fantastic option for the Indian team for T20 World Cup and maybe for Asia Cup as well. Asia Cup will be held in Dubai and he can be successful being a left-arm pacer,” the former Pakistan international said.

He also touched upon the downfall of T Natarajan, who has really fallen off the pecking order in the last couple of months due to sustaining a number of injury.

Talking of Arshdeep Singh, he has thus played 1 T20 International against England and took 2 wickets in that match. He bowled his first a maiden over and troubled the English batsmen with his swing bowling. He has played a total of 37 IPL matches and has taken 40 wickets.
