Not a single cricket fan can forget how he overcame health issues and played for his country at the grandest stage. Although the Pakistan cricket team could not win the championship, Mohammad Rizwan won everyone’s hearts with his performances.

Currently, Rizwan is in Pakistan, playing for the Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League. The Multan-based franchise are the defending champions of the tournament. They got off to a winning start in the 2022 PSL season with a victory over Babar Azam’s Karachi Kings.

The most difficult bowler I’ve ever faced, Josh Hazlewood, was playing in semifinal: Mohammad Rizwan

Talking about a match that he will never forget, Mohammad said:

“You know the one I will always remember is the Australia one in the semi-final. The most difficult bowler I’ve ever faced, Josh Hazlewood, was playing. I find him difficult. And then the pitch itself, the conditions, these were things going against us.”

Josh Hazlewood was in top form last year. He first won the 2021 Indian Premier League trophy with the Chennai Super Kings and then won the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup trophy with the Australian cricket team a few weeks later. It will be interesting to see which team signs him in IPL 2022.
