KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty have been in a relationship for quite some time. The Indian team’s vice-captain has traveled to many countries with her girlfriend Athiya. Also, Rahul has been spotted at Bollywood movie premieres with Athiya.
Whenever KL Rahul takes a break from cricket, the rumor mill runs wild with the claim that he is going to marry Athiya Shetty. While the marriage has not taken place yet, a recent report claimed that the power couple will tie the knot in three months’ time.
It looks like the marriage is not happening soon though because Athiya Shetty wrote this in her latest Instagram story:
“I hope I’m invited to the wedding that’s taking place in 3 months. Lol.”
Ahan Shetty also talked about the wedding of Athiya and KL Rahul earlier this year
Rumors have been rife this year that KL Rahul will marry Athiya Shetty soon. However, Athiya’s brother Ahan Shetty also trashed the rumors. In an interview with Dainik Bhaskar earlier this year, Ahan had said:
“As far as the wedding is concerned, there are no arrangements being made. There is no such ceremony, these are all rumours. When there is no wedding, how can we give you a date?”
Rahul will likely make his comeback in India’s away series against West Indies
The BCCI named a strong Indian squad for their upcoming five-match series against the West Indies cricket team earlier today. Rohit Sharma will captain the squad in the shortest format of the game, while Shikhar Dhawan will lead the team in the three-match ODI series.
