The first match of the five-match T20I series between the South African cricket team and the Indian cricket team happened earlier tonight in Delhi, where the visitors won by seven wickets. David Miller and Rassie van der Dussen had an excellent partnership of 131 runs that helped the South African cricket team pull off their highest successful run-chase in T20I cricket history.

Speaking of the game between the Indian cricket team and the South African cricket team, there was a massive moment in the match during the second innings. It was during the 16th over bowled by Avesh Khan. Rassie van der Dussen was struggling for runs. He had scored only 29 runs off 30 balls.

On the 31st ball, he almost handed a catch to Shreyas Iyer, who is regarded by many as one of the best fielders in the current Indian squad. However, Shreyas could not complete the catch. Rassie scored 45 runs from the next 15 balls and helped the Proteas win.

“Whenever we lose the game, it is not just because of one player. We need to address what mistakes we made in the bowling department and fielding department, but it is never one player who makes us lose the match. I know catches do win matches but at the same time, we have to get better with our bowling department also so that we can come back stronger in the next game.”

Rassie van der Dussen finished the match in style with a four

South Africa needed four runs to win off the last over. Yuzvendra Chahal came in to bowl the final over of the first T20I match.

Rassie played an excellent switch hit and guided the South African cricket team home. The second T20I will happen on Sunday.
