Batters – Sourav Ganguly (c), Rahul Dravid (wk), Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, VVS Laxman, Yuvraj Singh, Mohammed Kaif and Parthiv Patel (wk)
Sourav Ganguly captained the Indian team. Rahul Dravid was the vice-captain and wicketkeeper. Parthiv Patel was the backup wicketkeeper, while the rest of the batting lineup featured Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, VVS Laxman, Yuvraj Singh and Mohammed Kaif.

Bowlers – Anil Kumble, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Lakshmipathy Balaji, Irfan Pathan and Ashish Nehra
India’s pace attack featured three left-arm pacers in Zaheer Khan, Irfan Pathan and Ashish Nehra. Lakshmipathy Balaji was the only right-arm fast bowler. Leg-spinner Anil Kumble formed the spin attack along with off-break bowler Harbhajan Singh.
Like the batters, all bowlers have retired as well. Kumble works as a cricket expert, Singh and Pathan play in Legends League and work as commentators, while Nehra is coach of Gujarat Titans. Balaji is bowling coach of the Chennai Super Kings. Khan is the Director of Cricket at MI.
