India T20 World Cup 2024 squad will be announced around April or May. The mega event will take place in the United States and West Indies this June. The Men in Blue are in Group ‘A’ of the 20-team event, with the other teams in their group being USA, Canada, Ireland and arch-rivals Pakistan.

Rohit Sharma has confirmed that he will lead the Indian team in T20Is. He will likely be the captain in T20 World Cup also, with Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav continuing from the 2023 World Cup. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill might get the nod ahead of Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan, while Rinku Singh has cemented his place in the team.
All Rounders in India T20 World Cup 2024 squad – Hardik Pandya (vc), Ravindra Jadeja, Shivam Dube and Washington Sundar
Hardik Pandya should be the main all-rounder of the squad. The pace-bowling all-rounder should also be the vice-captain of this squad. Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel will fight for one spot in the squad.
Shivam Dube and Washington Sundar will likely be the other two all-rounders. Dube was Man of the Series against Afghanistan, while Sundar offers a right-arm off-spin option.
Bowlers – Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep Singh and Ravi Bishnoi
Jasprit Bumrah should return to lead India’s bowling attack in the mega event. Mohammed Shami, who won Purple Cap in IPL 2023 and had a great World Cup, should partner with him. Arshdeep Singh should feature in the squad as well because he is a left-arm pace bowler. Ravi Bishnoi should complete the squad as the lead leg-spinner.
