India’s T20 World Cup 2021 schedule and where to watch live ?

The T20 World Cup has finally kicked-off on the 17th of October with the Round 1 matches involving 8 teams, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, the 9th and 10th ranked T20I ranking teams as well 6 other teams who qualified for the tournament through the qualifiers in 2019.

Well, now you might wonder, what about India, England, Australia and the other teams. Well, the big boys will enter the tournament from Super 12 round, which will kick-off from the 23rd of October. 4 teams from the Round 1, 2 teams from each group, will make it to the Super 12 round.

As for the Indian cricket team fans, the Indian cricket team will begin its campaign from the 24th of October against the neighbours, but the arch-rival Pakistan. But before that, Virat Kohli’s men will also take part in 2 warm-up matches against England and Australia on the 18th and the 20th of October, both at the Dubai cricket ground, but, while the England match will be played 3:30 PM IST, the Australia match will be on the evening at 7:30 PM IST.

After they are done with the warm-up games, the real challenge begins with the opening match against Pakistan which will begin at 7:30 PM Indian Standard Time and will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

After they cross the Pakistan hurdle, they will have chance to take revenge of New Zealand of their defeat against them in the inaugural World Test Championship. The match against New Zealand will be on 31st of October at the same time and same venue.

After that, Afganistan will be waiting for Virat Kohli’s men. The Afganistan match will be on 3rd November, but this time at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi, however, the time remains the same.

After that, their challenge will be in the 2 teams that make it through to the Super 12 from Round 1. First, on 5th November, India will face the team that finishes in 1st place in Group B and then on the 8th November they will face the team that finishes 2nd in Group A, both the matches will be at 7:30 PM IST.

If they finishes in top 2 in their respective Super 12 group, which is Group 2, they will enter the semi-finals, which will be played on the 10th and 11th of November. And the final will be on 14th November in Dubai.
