Like in any other profession, cricket also pays its players based on his/her performance. Although this is true in IPL, on some occasions, we see auction dynamics overpaying or underpaying a cricketer. Nevertheless, the game of cricket is only between the bat and the ball, and the outcome can never be written on paper.

In this article, we bring to you an interesting XI. This eleven constitutes cricketers who will earn more than INR 10 crores in IPL 2021. They are talented professionals and thoroughly deserve this amount. We stick to the IPL rule of having only four overseas players in the final XI.

Openers: Rohit Sharma (C) (INR 15 Cr) and KL Rahul (INR 11 Cr)

Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul form the opening combination for this squad. The duo also serves the same role for the Indian Cricket Team. While KL Rahul has been the best batsman in the league for the last two editions, Rohit Sharma is a complete package. There can be no better batsman than him on his day and the Hitman is a brilliant captain and has plenty of trophies to show for it. In the reserves, we have David Warner, the SRH captain who is in form every season.

Middle-Order: Virat Kohli (INR 17 Cr), MS Dhoni (INR 15 Cr), Rishabh Pant (INR 15 Cr) and Manish Pandey (INR 11 Cr)

The middle-order consists of four Indian cricketers. The highest-paid man in the competition, Virat Kohli, arrives at No.3 in this XI. Virat is the highest run-scorer in IPL so far. MS Dhoni is the player who will occupy the No.4 slot. One of the best limited-overs cricketers that India has seen, IPL 2021 could well be MSD’s final IPL campaign. MSD’s successor Rishabh Pant comes in next. Pant may have had a forgettable IPL 2020, but the kind of form he is in, the next season might well be his. Manish Pandey is a talented batsman who has lost his way at the moment. Nevertheless, he has a few opportunities in the coming days to execute a comeback.

Backup: AB de Villiers (INR 11 Cr) and Suresh Raina (INR 11 Cr)

All-Rounders: Hardik Pandya (INR 11 Cr) and Chris Morris (INR 16.25 Cr)

In Hardik Pandya and Chris Morris, we have one of the best all-rounders’ units across the globe. Hardik is a power-hitter, and the game is not over until he is in the crease. The highest-paid player at IPL 2021 auctions, Morris is a pro when it comes to death bowling. He is also more than useful with his willow, which has often produced some scintillating cameos.

Backup: Ben Stokes (INR 12.5 Cr) and Glenn Maxwell (INR 14.25 Cr)

Bowlers: Sunil Narine (INR 12.5 Cr), Pat Cummins (INR 15.5 Cr) and Jhye Richardson (INR 14 Cr)

It will be a foreign bowling department for this squad. Sunil Narine comes in at No.9 in this XI. Of course, he is a floater and can bat anywhere in the XI. With the ball, although his form may not be great, Narine can always be a difficult customer to deal with. Pat Cummins was the costliest buy at IPL 2020 Auctions. He is a top-class bowler and will look to justify his price-tag next season. BBL star Jhye Richardson went for INR 14 crores at the recent auctions. He will play for Punjab Kings in IPL 2021.
