6.Rahul Dravid – Royal Challengers Bangalore
Royal Challengers Bangalore’s IPL campaign had got off to a disastrous start as they lost their opening match against Kolkata Knight Riders by a huge margin. Rahul Dravid tried his best to uplift the team. Even though they had the likes of Virat Kohli, Anil Kumble, and Praveen Kumar, RCB finished seventh that year.
Rahul Dravid played in the IPL for Rajasthan Royals before hanging his boots. Dravid is the head of the National Cricket Academy right now.
5.Sourav Ganguly – Kolkata Knight Riders
Sourav Ganguly is often referred to as the Prince of Kolkata. The Shahrukh Khan-owned Kolkata Knight Riders appointed him as their captain in IPL 2008. Under Dada, Kolkata failed to make it to the playoffs despite beginning the tournament on a fantastic note.
Ganguly became a part of Pune Warriors during his last few years as an active cricketer. The left-handed batsman is currently the BCCI President.
