The Australian team will soon tour Pakistan to compete with Babar Azam’s men in all three formats of international cricket. For the first time in this century, the Australian cricket team will play an international match on Pakistani soil, which is why this series is very important for Pakistan cricket. Previously, England and New Zealand canceled their tours of Pakistan in 2021.

In a chat with cricket.com.au, Greg Chappell, who has toured Pakistan in the past, spoke about the challenges that the Australian squad will face and said:

“A lot of the guys have spent a lot of time in India in recent times, but it’s a different tour to India — it’s not as open as India is — so it’ll be challenging for them both on and off the field, and if Pakistan play as well as they can play, it’ll be a big challenge.”

There’s not many places where you can get away and relax: Greg Chappell

Greg Chappell further added that there are not many places, where the players can get away and relax because of various reasons and also the current environment.

“Particularly in the current environment, there’s not many places where you can get away and relax, so it’ll be fairly full-on,” added Chappell.

Pakistan’s home series against Australia will start with a Test match in Rawalpindi on March 4. It will be exciting to see which team comes out on top in the ICC World Test Championship series between the Pakistan cricket team and the Australian cricket team.
