Former Australian cricket team batter Mark Waugh has spoken about the challenges that the Australian cricket team will face during their upcoming tour of Pakistan. The Australian side will soon visit Pakistan and play against the Men in Green in all three formats. Waugh specifically warned one Aussie batter about Shaheen Afridi, who was in top form last year.
Many fans would know that Shaheen Afridi has troubled the best batters in the world with his left-arm pace bowling. He will hold the key to Pakistan’s success during the upcoming ICC World Test Championship series against the Australian cricket team.
Mark Waugh feels that the opening batter of the Australian cricket team David Warner should play properly against Shaheen because in Waugh’s opinion, he has struggled the pace bowlers recently. Giving the example of Warner’s performance against England cricket team’s fast bowler Mark Wood, Waugh was quoted as saying by cricket.com.au:
“I don’t think Warner’s looked quite as comfortable against quick bowling in recent times — Mark Wood definitely unsettled him, and Shaheen Afridi will be a big test for him.”

Further, Mark Waugh explained how the unique angle from the left-arm fast bowler Shaheen Afridi can trouble David Warner. He continued:
“When you’ve got the left-armer from that different angle, he’s probably not as comfortable. Shaheen Afridi’s got the ability to angle in and take the ball away from David Warner, so he does pose that question.”
