Prasidh Krishna is one of the fastest bowlers in India. The right-arm pacer came into the limelight while playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL. This year, he will don the Rajasthan Royals jersey in the IPL as the Royals signed him for a whopping INR 10 crore at the mega auction.
Krishna has also become a regular member of the Indian cricket team in white-ball formats. Because of his increasing popularity, many fans recently pointed out how his look resembles to Sri Lankan cricket team’s white-ball captain Dasun Shanaka.
Dasun is currently leading the Sri Lankan cricket team in an away T20I series against the Australian cricket team. The Australian team has taken a 3-0 lead in the series as they have dominated the islanders.

Prasidh Krishna’s lookalike Dasun Shanaka was not happy with his team’s performance against Australia
The Sri Lankan T20I cricket team captain Dasun Shanaka was utterly disappointed with his team’s performance in the 3rd T20I of the series against the Australian cricket team. Shanaka’s team batted first and scored 121/6 in their 20 overs. The captain top-scored with an unbeaten 38-ball 39, but the others disappointed.
Here’s what he had to say after the Australian cricket team defeated the Sri Lankan cricket team by six wickets:
“Poor start and we were 20-30 runs short. I think we should bat well in the first six overs and not throw wickets away. Not a lot of positives today.”
The chances that Shanaka goes up against Prasidh Krishna soon are high because the Sri Lankan cricket team is all set to tour India for a T20I series and a Test series.
