Australia has rested its senior players for the T20I series and given Mitchell Marsh the responsibility to lead the team. And the all-rounder has done a great job in both games and also scored the most runs. Marsh smashed an unbeaten 92 in the first game to lead his team to victory.

He followed it up with another cracking 79 not out on Friday in the second game to help his team win the series. With his performance in the second match, he went on to set a new record. He surpassed Yuvraj Singh to register the highest score in Kingsmead Durban with his performances in the series so far.

Notably, earlier, Yuvraj held the record for the highest individual score in T20 internationals in Durban. He smashed a 20-ball fifty and made 70 against Australia in the 2007 T20 World Cup. The record lasted for 15 years, and Marsh has gone past it now.
