“MS Dhoni is my idol,” says Richa Ghosh after 29-ball 52 against New Zealand

Ghosh is an 18-year-old wicket-keeper batter. She came into the limelight during the recently-concluded ODI series between the Indian women’s cricket team and the New Zealand women’s cricket team. In the fourth match of the series, Ghosh smashed a quickfire 29-ball 52. Unfortunately, her efforts went in vain as the New Zealand women’s cricket team won the match.

Richa Ghosh has played 20 international matches for the Indian women’s cricket team so far

Richa Ghosh is gaining experience at the international level. She has played seven ODIs and 13 T20Is for the Indian women’s cricket team so far. She is a wicket-keeper batter, and looking at her performance in the fourth ODI against the New Zealand women’s cricket team, one can get an idea that she is an aggressive batter.

During her knock of 52 runs, Ghosh smacked four fours and four sixes for the Women in Blue. Fans will hope that her form continues when the Indian women’s cricket team plays in the 2022 Women’s World Cup.
