David Warner is one of the most consistent performers in the Indian Premier League history, and he has continued his excellent form in IPL 2022 with three fifties in four innings. Warner joined the Delhi Capitals late because of Cricket Australia’s rules, but he has made up for his absence in the previous matches with a hat-trick of half-centuries.

Warner started off on a rusty note as he managed only four runs off 12 balls against the Lucknow Super Giants. But in the following game against the Kolkata Knight Riders, Warner hit a match-winning fifty. He followed that up with a 66-run knock against the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Unfortunately, that knock ended in a losing cause.

Earlier tonight, in the game between the Punjab Kings and the Delhi Capitals, Warner top-scored for the Delhi-based franchise with a 30-ball 60*. While Warner has scored three fifties for his team, his kids are a little unhappy because they want their father to score a century just like Jos Buttler does.

“For me it’s about sticking to the basics and I tried to put my best footwork forward, hopefully I ll be able to do going forward. My kids just want to know why I cannot get hundred like Jos (Buttler) does. It’s great that the little ones around the world keep watching this game,” Warner said in a chat with the host broadcasters after the match.
