Gujarat Titans all-rounder Gurkeerat Singh Mann is hopeful of playing international cricket again. The Punjab-based player made his international debut in 2016 and played his last match in the same year itself. His last ODI appearance for Team India came against Australia back on January 23, 2016.

Mann played three ODI matches for the Indian cricket team that year, scoring 13 runs at an average of 6.50. His highest score was 8. He bowled 10 overs as well but could not scalp any wickets. Because of his disappointing performances, Gurkeerat Singh lost his place in the Indian team.

Many members of the cricket universe would remember that Mann came into the spotlight during the IPL matches. He was a match-winner for the Punjab Kings and then was picked up by the Royal Challengers Bangalore. He did not get regular opportunities to play for RCB but was impressive in the chances that he received.

The Gujarat Titans roped Mann in at the IPL 2022 Mega Auction. In a recent interview with Sportskeeda, the Punjab-based player affirmed that he is ready to play whatever role his franchise wants him to perform. He can bat in the top-order, in the middle order or play as a finisher. He is also looking forward to contributing in the bowling department. It will be interesting to see which role he plays in the Gujarat Titans team.
