Former England cricket team captain Michael Vaughan gave his honest opinion on Ravindra Jadeja’s performance as a captain against the Gujarat Titans and said that the Chennai Super Kings should have easily won that IPL 2022 match. He mentioned how the team would rarely lose a tight match when playing under the captaincy of MS Dhoni.

Yesterday, fans witnessed a thrilling IPL encounter between the Gujarat Titans and the Chennai Super Kings, where GT emerged victorious by three wickets. CSK received an invitation to bat first from GT’s stand-in skipper Rashid Khan. CSK did a decent job and posted 169/5 on the board, riding on a fifty from opener Ruturaj Gaikwad.

In reply, the Gujarat Titans lost wickets at regular intervals, and it seemed like the Chennai Super Kings would record an easy win. However, the same did not happen courtesy of a dream knock from David Miller. The left-handed batter remained not out on 94 and powered GT to their fifth win of IPL 2022.

Miller received great support from Rashid Khan who scored a valuable 40 in the lower-middle order. Rashid defeated the defending champions Chennai Super Kings on his IPL captaincy debut.

“I don’t remember seeing MS Dhoni lose too many games like that. You are never used to seeing MS’ side lose a tight game and wouldn’t have even let it get to be in tight.
