I am glad my team is doing well: Mumbai captain Prithvi Shaw

During the same chat, Shaw added that ups and downs are part of life and career. He mentioned that he was happy with his team’s performance thus far in 2022 Ranji Trophy season.

“It happens sometimes but I am glad that my team is doing well. As a captain, I have to think of all 21 players I have got here and not just about me,” he added.

It will be interesting to see if Mumbai can win the Ranji Trophy title again. They are the most successful team in the tournament’s history. Shaw concluded by saying that he will soon start middling the ball and scoring runs again for his team, but he wanted to make sure that his team was not under too much pressure and enjoyed themselves in the middle during the battle against Madhya Pradesh.
