Team India has had a great start to the ongoing World Cup 2023 at home. They are handsomely sitting at the top of the table, with three wins out of the three they have played. They started with a brilliant win over Australia in Chennai. Then, the Indian team defeated Afghanistan in a thumping manner.
In their third game against archrival Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium, they completely dominate in both departments. India bowled out Pakistan for just 191 runs, taking the last eight wickets for 36 runs. Then, they chased down the score with almost 20 overs to spare.
Team India will face Bangladesh in their next game at the MCA Stadium in Pune. That match will be played on October 19 (Thursday). Almost everything has clicked for the Indian team so far. However, there are some players who are sitting on the bench and waiting for their opportunities.
With India entering the game against Bangladesh as favorites, we might expect a few changes in the team. Mohammed Shami might get a chance, and Suryakumar Yadav can also get a chance to feature in the playing XI. He wrote, “Sir dugout mein Baithke kya khate rehto ho, ground par jaake do char 6 maark aao.” Surykumar was up to reply and gave it back with a savage reply. He replied, “Order mereko nahi Swiggy pe de bhai.”
Notably, SKY played all three ODIs against Australia ahead of the World Cup 2023. He scored two half-centuries in the first two games and is waiting for his chance. However, India already has some in-form players in the middle that are performing pretty well. But if the management decides to make some changes in the next game, he might get a nod.
