Pakistan women’s cricket team batter Kainat Imtiaz is one of them to have reacted to Virat Kohli’s decision to resign.

Kainat took to her social media handle, where he retweeted Virat Kohli’s tweet announcing his decision to resign. Retweeting that, Kainat Imtiaz posted that Virat Kohli has played cricket fearlessly for the last 7 years and he is one of the greatest ever captain. He also called him “GOAT” (Greatest of All Time) and an inspiration.

Virat Kohli’s decision to step down as India’s Test came following India’s Test series defeat against South Africa, but Virat has not mentioned this as a reason behind his decision, is still very much unknown to the world.

Kohli had earlier stepped down as RCB’s captain in the IPL, followed by stepping down as India’s T20 captain after the T20 World Cup 2021. As a result of which, the selectors stripped him of the ODI captaincy as well, which sparked a big controversy, involving the BCCI and the Kohli.

Kohli is one of the greatest ever to captain India, taking the team from 7th rank in the ICC Test Ranking to the very top. India played 68 Test matches under him, of which, India has won 40 matches, lost 17 and the other matches ended in draw or no result.
