IPL 2024 is about to start soon, and the mini auction for the competition has already happened. As per reports, the entire season will happen in India although the dates of IPL may clash with the Lok Sabha elections in the country.
If the matches happen in India, every team will need at least two quality spin options in their playing XI for the matches. In this article now, we shall predict the probable spin duo of each team in IPL 2024.
1. Probable spin duo of LSG in IPL 2024 – Ravi Bishnoi and Krunal Pandya
Vice-captain Krunal Pandya is likely to be the lead spinner of the Lucknow Super Giants team this season. He will have the support of leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi, who has had a great season in T20Is.
2. Probable spin duo of CSK in IPL 2024 – Ravindra Jadeja and Maheesh Theekshana
Sri Lanka’s Maheesh Theekshana has done a fine job for CSK in recent seasons. He can form a pair with left-arm spin bowling all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja in IPL.
3. Probable spin duo of GT in IPL 2024 – Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad
Gujarat Titans will be one of the few teams to rely on two overseas spinners. They have two of the best spinners in the world in the form of Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad.
4. Probable spin duo of DC in IPL 2024 – Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav
Delhi Capitals seemingly have the best all-Indian spin twins in IPL this year. Last season’s vice-captain Axar Patel may lead the attack with the support of left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav.
5. Probable spin duo of KKR in IPL 2024 – Sunil Narine and Varun CV
Mystery spinners Varun CV and Sunil Narine should be the first-choice spinners of the Kolkata Knight Riders. Suyash Sharma is another spinner who will be in the reckoning for a place in the playing XI.
6. MI – Piyush Chawla and Mohammad Nabi
Mumbai Indians have a couple of experienced spinners in their ranks for the 2024 season. Veteran Indian leggie Piyush Chawla should unite forces with Afghan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi in the spin attack.

Punjab Kings have two talented Indian spin-bowling options in their squad. Leg-spinner Rahul Chahar should lead the attack with the backing of left-arm spinner Harpreet Brar.
8. RCB – Karn Sharma and Mayank Dagar
Leg-spinner Karn Sharma will likely lead the spin attack of the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Mayank Dagar, who was traded before the auction, should be the second spin option.
9. RR – Yuzvendra Chahal and R Ashwin
Rajasthan Royals also have a solid spin duo for the season. Veteran offie R Ashwin should share the responsibilities with IPL’s highest wicket-taker, Yuzvendra Chahal.
10. SRH – Shahbaz Ahmed and Wanindu Hasaranga
Former RCB spin twins Shahbaz Ahmed and Wanindu Hasaranga should be the first-choice spin duo for SRH. If Hasaranga can’t find a place due to overseas combination, Washington Sundar may come in.
