Former Indian cricket team’s captain and legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar has spoken on the most asked comparison in world cricket right now, Sachin Tendulkar or Virat Kohli, who is better of the two.
The Mumbai batsman is termed as one of the best batsmen the world has ever seen play the game of cricket. Sachin has recorded huge milestones to his name throughout his career. The cricketer has scored a total of over 34,000 international runs as well as 100 hundreds during his career while playing for India.
Tendulkar bid adieu to international cricket in the year 2013 when he announced his retirement from the sport.
During a conversation with host Graham Bensinger on his show, Sachin was asked probably the most toughest question right now in world cricket, who is the better cricketer, Tendulkar or Kohli.
In response to the question, Tendulkar gave an epic answer and didn’t put anyone of them ahead, he said, “How about having both of us in one team?”
Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli are most recognised batsmen and cricketer. Kohli is following the route of glory set by the little master. While Sachin has scored 15921 runs from 200 Test matches, Virat Kohli has scored 7962 runs from just 99 matches.
And while Sachin Tendulkar opted to not lead the Indian team for long after was given the captaincy, Virat Kohli has come out as one of the best Indian team’s captain. However, most recently he stepped down from his position as India’s captain from all the formats of the game.
