3. Jack Hobbs – 12 centuries against Australia
Another entry from the Ashes rivalry is of Jack Hobbs. The former England batter smashed 12 hundreds against Australia, the same as Steve Smith.
2. Sunil Gavaskar – 13 centuries against West Indies
The record for the most centuries by an Indian against a particular team in Tests belongs to Sunil Gavaskar. He registered 13 hundreds against the mighty West Indies team.

The world record for the most centuries by a batter against a particular team in the longest format is in the name of Don Bradman. The Australian legend hit 19 tons against England.
