Former Indian cricket team opener Wasim Jaffer recently picked his Indian squad for the upcoming Asia Cup and ICC T20 World Cup 2022. The Men in Blue have a hectic T20 schedule in 2022. They will play a five-match T20I series against the South African cricket team after IPL 2022.

After that, the team will travel to Ireland and England for T20I matches against the home teams, followed by a T20I series against the West Indies cricket team. The Australian cricket team will then visit India for a T20I series, and then the Men in Blue will participate in Asia Cup and T20 World Cup 2022.

Most of the IPL stars will receive a place in the Indian squads, but the performance in the international matches will decide whether they will play for the country in the multi-nation tournaments. During a recent appearance on CricTracker’s Not Just Cricket Show, Wasim Jaffer named the players that he would like to see playing for the Indian cricket team in the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup 2022.
