The Australian cricket team recently played home series against the England cricket team and the Sri Lankan cricket team.

They won the Ashes Test series against England by 4-0 and then beat Sri Lanka in a 5-match T20I series by 4-1. The Aussies will now lock horns with the Pakistan cricket team in an away series on a historic tour.

Pakistan will host the ICC World Test Championship series, the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League series and the one-off T20I on this tour. Australia have named a star-studded squad for the tour, and one of the names present in the team is Travis Head, who performed exceptionally well for the Aussies in the Ashes series against England.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Travis Head talked about the upcoming tour of Pakistan and said the following about the security arrangement:

“We’re in pretty safe hands. I am not sure how public it’s going to be, on what the protocols are for us. But in terms of communication and how we’re going to feel over there or the protocols that we’re under to keep us safe. I don’t think there is any of those concerns and what they’re putting in place for us is sound.”

Travis Head has not scored a century outside Australia

While Travis Head has a fantastic record in home Test matches, he has never scored a ton outside Australia in his career so far. The upcoming Pakistan tour offers him a chance to end that drought. It will be interesting to see how the left-handed batter performs on Pakistani soil.
