Many fans would have an idea about the conflict between Krunal Pandya and Deepak Hooda. Both all-rounders once played together for the Baroda domestic cricket team. However, according to a letter written by Hooda to the Baroda Cricket Association, Krunal did not behave properly with him during a domestic cricket.

The BCA suspended Hooda after that, and then the all-rounder moved to the Rajasthan domestic cricket team. Here’s what Hooda alleged in his letter:

“Today I was practising in nets and doing my preparation for tomorrow’s game with the permission of Head Coach Mr Prabhkar. Then Krunal came in nets started misbehaving with me. I told him that I’m doing my preparation with the permission of head coach. He told me that ‘I’m the captain , who is the head coach?”

Punjab Kings posted a surprising tweet after the Lucknow Super Giants signed Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya

Earlier in the day, the Rajasthan Royals signed Ravichandran Ashwin. Because of that signing, Ashwin and Jos Buttler are in the same squad now. Ashwin and Buttler had a heated exchange during an IPL match between the Punjab Kings and the Rajasthan Royals, when Ashwin ran out Buttler at the non-striker’s end before delivering the ball.

Now, Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya are in the same squad for the IPL 2022 season. The Punjab Kings Twitter admin described this situation as WWE Royal Rumble and posted the following tweet. However, they soon deleted it. Here is a screenshot:
