10. Sandeep Sharma

Sharma crossed the 50-wicket milestone in the IPL during his 40th match. The Indian star has so far bagged 109 wickets in 92 games.

9. RP Singh

Former IPL Purple Cap winner RP Singh was a match-winner for the country during his prime. He was the star of India’s T20 World Cup win in South Africa.

Singh was a rare talent because he was an Indian left-arm fast bowler. The batsmen struggled a lot against him in white-ball cricket as he claimed his 50th IPL wicket in his 40th game.

8. Mohit Sharma

Another former IPL Purple Cap winner present on this list is former Chennai Super Kings star Mohit Sharma. MS Dhoni used Mohit to perfection.

West Indian off-spinner Sunil Narine has been a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders since his debut. Narine’s mystery spin made him a top name in the league.

So far, Narine has played 122 games, where he has picked up 170 wickets. His 50th IPL wicket came in the first match of 2014, where he took a 4-wicket haul.

South Africa fast bowler Kagiso Rabada recently broke Sunil Narine’s record for the fastest to 50 wickets. Rabada touched this milestone in 27 matches only.

Narine had taken his 50th wicket in his 32nd game. But Rabada is the new number one now thanks to his consistent performances for the Delhi Capitals team.
