The first edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup was played in the year 1975. Representing the West Indian side, Collis King was previously featured in the squad which participated in it. However, he didn’t get a chance to take the field out of the five matches that his side played in that edition. However, he played his part during the 1979 World Cup final, where he smashed 86 runs in 66 balls.
