Playing this format for the first time in 2007 against Australia, Kartik conceded 27 runs from his quota of 4 overs and didn’t manage to get his first breakthrough, which couldn’t impress selectors a lot.
7.Subramaniam Badrinath
Subramaniam Badrinath has been the one such cricketer who wasn’t selected for further T20 matches despite winning the Man of the Match award in his debut T20 match. The Right-hand batsman made his T20 debut in 2011 against West Indies and successfully went on to smash 43 runs off 37 balls while coming to bat at no 4. Even though India emerged out as the winning side following this match-winning knock, it became the last T20 match of his career.
