Pondicherry Premier League 2024 is currently underway in the southern part of India. Like Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, Pondicherry has its own T20 league now, where the players compete against each other in a franchise-based competition.
Six teams namely, Mahe Megalo Strikers, White Town Giants, Villianur Mohit Kings, Ossudu Accord Warriors, Yanam Royals and Karaikal Knights, are a part of the competition in Pondicherry. Most of the players are upcoming talents and veterans of Pondicherry cricket, but there are also a couple of former IPL players who are in this tournament. Here’s a list of the two players.
1. Ankit Sharma is playing for Karaikal Knights in Pondicherry Premier League 2024
Left-arm spin bowling all-rounder Ankit Sharma has been a part of Rajasthan Royals and Rising Pune Supergiant in the IPL. He has shared the dressing room with big names of world cricket like Shane Watson, MS Dhoni, Ajinkya Rahane, Steve Smith, Thisara Perera and many others.
